What Almost No One Knows About

Installation of a Subwoofer in a Car the right way

Life is not complete without music; it does not matter if you are relaxing on your couch, or doing some work with some background music, whether driving or stuck in the traffic mess, music is important in life. Since you have music in your car, it is not time to improve it with high tech subwoofers for the eventual experience. Checking out these subwoofers, and making a selection on what is suitable with your budget and needs now you can get it installed. Of course you can hire someone to do the job for you or you can do it on your own following these six simple steps given here below.

To start with you need to ensure that you have all that is needed such as these subwoofers, a subwoofer box, amplifier kit, and the amp and some tape. You must make sure the box for these subwoofers is specifically designed for the speakers and that you have the amp that has the right strength for the speakers. You should now have the power line ready, and this can be done by going beneath the dash and getting an opening through the firewall so that the power wire can pass. For most kits, the thickness of the power wire should be between 8 to 0. Next find a fuse not far off from the connector which will go in the battery and pull one near the battery, however, do not connect it just yet.

It is time to pull out the player head unit and the dash and with the tape, attach the wire with the RCA cables and below the dash attach it to the player position on the passenger side. Now you can decide to connect the remote wire and the straight wire or the wiring harness to the wire corresponding from the player and now connect the RCA cables. Now let us go back to where the amp was mounted. You need to run the wires into where the amp will be placed. Wires should run down on the passenger side for safety.

The carpet on the amp should now be lifted and get a good place where the metal of your car body is exposed so that you can lay the wire. You may have to add some paint to get a strong position in case you don’t get a good position. Finally, these subwoofers can now be positioned in the car and the speaker wire connected to the amp. In the battery cable, secure the fuse with an item in the engine compartment such as twisting it to the hoses, or hook up the cable of the battery to the plus side of the battery. Prior to reassembling, test these subwoofers and ensure everything is properly connected and if all is in order reassemble the dash and enjoy the fine tunes in your car.
